Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Polly takes much inspiration from Eastern European cinematic traditions. As a non-binary emerging cinematographer based in NYC, Polly strives to explore the themes of gender-fluidity through their films and other visual mediums.
Polly is a Dartmouth BA graduate, a FutureNow Media Foundation mentee, and a 2024 Schumacher | Cranshaw scholar in the Gotham Edu Film and Media Career Development Program.
They have previously developed content for the Hopkins Center for the Arts, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, the Ukrainian Museum, the Korean Foundation, Suspilne Movlennya, Razom, United24, and Takflix.com, among others.
